Created as handmade gifts for my family and close friends on the occasion of my wedding, these pen drawings celebrate shared memories, affection, and everyday moments. Each work serves as a personal keepsake, reflecting my belief that art can express gratitude, strengthen relationships, and preserve meaningful human connections beyond the ceremony.
Produced during a field study at Laban Utsav, Golghore, Suri, Birbhum, West Bengal, these graphite sketches investigate the posture, expression, and movement of Baul performers. The series emphasizes direct observation as a means of understanding gesture, rhythm, and the human figure in performance.
